The comma is such a regular part of punctuation. It's sprinkled across almost every paragraph and sneaks into places all the time.
That doesn't mean that it's easy to use correctly.
There are so many rules and so many misconceptions about the comma that it can be hard to tell where you should or shouldn't put it.
You don't really put a comma everywhere you stop to breathe. Not everyone puts a comma in the same place when writing a list. Choosing where to put a comma when writing numerous adjectives in a row can be a big challenge.
I probably omitted some recommended commas in this blog.
Commas are a trickier thing than they should be considering how common they are. Get to know your commas or hire someone who can help you with them when writing. It's the best way to make sure your readers are understanding the message you intend to tell them.
