People set goals for themselves when the new year starts.
They make resolutions. They write to do lists. They join clubs and gyms and committees.
There is nothing magical about the new year to force you to do any of these things. Any day is a good day to set yourself some goals and to make sure that you keep moving forward.
But a kick in the pants never hurts either.
So, even if you doubt the effectiveness of new year's resolutions—and many of us have hands-on experience with resolutions that are never fulfilled—there isn't any harm in taking the time to look over what you plan to accomplish this year.
Go ahead and review your goals. You never know where it might take you.
