Every point of view has its advantages and disadvantages.
There are some things you can't see or know from the first-person point of view. There is some distance in the third-person point of view. There is an unappreciated secrecy if you aren't telling your readers something your narrator knows from their first-person voice.
Every point of view has their pros and cons. Some come naturally to some writers and others have to be worked on.
The thing is, however, there is no universal right point of view. Only your story can tell you which is right for you.
Don't choose a point of view because you think it will be necessary or required. Start your story and discover what point of view is right for this story as you go.
