Camp NaNoWriMo is done, and for some people, that has them wondering what's next. What can they do now to move their writing to the next steps.
If you were writing a first draft during the month of April, here's something you shouldn't do: send your story out for publication.
If you just spent a month writing a story or novel, you aren't done. You need to take the time to reread your work. You need to edit. You need to get other people's opinions.
Finishing NaNoWriMo is super excited, but it doesn't mean your project is finished. Take the time to celebrate and get some distance from your work, and then get ready to put in some more hard work before you can really consider your project finished.
