There are a lot of doubters out there.
Not just about government and experts, but about everything they see.
Even though you might just be writing for the fun of it, these cynics are likely to apply the same doubt to your writing.
So, when you're editing your text, apply a little doubt to make sure that you're being believable.
Coincidences don't really happen. People don't randomly choose their friends. Good luck comes with strings attached.
People reading your novel might be looking for plot holes in your story. Review with them in mind to make sure that you've caught all the faults in your story.
