The month will end, but you can keep writing

You can set any goal you want when participating in Camp NaNoWriMo. A lot of people stick to the tried and true, though: 50,000 in one month.

Is that really a novel, however?

Probably not. Definitely not right on the dot.

So, there is a very good chance that, when the end of the month arrives, your novel isn't done. There is still more to write. There is still some story to discover.

That's fine. The goal of NaNoWriMo and camps is to get you writing. Don't worry if you haven't finished your novel. The month might be over, but there are still a lot of days to write. Get at it!
