While I thought I was going to write about one thing this July NaNoWriMo, I lost my inspirations about ten pages in. It's one of the many risks of being a pantser. Your idea might not be as complete when you start writing it as you thought it was when it first hit you.
Luckily, a timely conversation reminded me of a different story that I've been trying to write for years and gave me an angle that I hadn't quite thought of before.
Will the story last until the end of the month? Is there really enough there to get 50,000 words out?
I don't know, but I'm certainly willing to find out.
I hope that you find a story that you can stick to this month, whether it's the one you started with or the one that comes later in the month.
