An elevator pitch isn't very long.
If you want to tell someone what your story is, why you wrote it, and why it will sell, you better talk quickly.
If you have time, however, there's one other detail that you can slip into your pitch: what do you want people to know about your story?
It's so general and wide that the possible answers are endless.
Did you write it because it reminded you of your favourite childhood story? Did you get inspired by a marking event in your life? Do you hope that it will motivate someone like you to take a chance?
Ask yourself what you want people to know about your story. You might just find your story's key selling point that you didn't know existed.
