I love to multitask.
I don't watch television without doing another activity at the same time. I have dozens of tabs open in my browsers at all times. I read a few books at a time, grabbing a chapter from one and then one from another depending on my mood.
When it comes to writing, however, I try to find chunks of time.
I can write more than once a day, but I am most productive when I sit down for at least twenty minutes and let myself get into a flow.
When editing, forget about it. I have to save a good chunk of time. If I want to make sure that I am ensuring consistency, a long chunk of time is best.
Figure out how much time you need to make a productive stab at your work, and then try to find it in your day.
